You don’t want to miss this delightful production. Performed with a full professional cast, lush production values, and admission-free, this comedy skewers our perceptions of love, identity, and society. Shakespeare’s sunniest comedy, and set amid the Arcadian beauty of the forest of Arden, AS YOU LIKE IT gives us some of Shakespeare’s most famous words (“All the world’s a stage…” is just one example), perhaps his greatest female role in the captivating, lovely, and supremely intelligent Rosalind, his funniest clown in the character of Touchstone, some great songs, and a whole load of laughs as some exiled city slickers wander the pastoral landscape and try to adapt to the country life. Of course, all these comic tangles happily unwind with a quadruple wedding at the end of the play. But just how we get to that unwinding will keep you laughing and enchanted the whole way through.
